Forum member Clay has produced the best and funniest CD I have heard in many years. It is absolutely brilliant and hard to hang on to as everyone wants a copy or borrow it.
It is a collection of NZ hunting songs, so dam funny that in a room you can hardly hear it for people rolling on the floor laughing.
It is so well presented in a printed booklet form with all the words and images of hunting it would have to be up there with anything I have ever seen in presentation and will make a stunning gift.
Clay is a brilliant singer / entertainer and now back in NZ after performing at well over 3000 international concerts over 16 years. He is now relaxing back into the kiwi hunter lifestyle in the Nelson area and busy in the recording studio creating more brilliant CD’s

Got my CD in the weekend, after waiting a couple of weeks to get off the Island and go home pighunting. I don’t know what I was looking forward most too, my new dogbox, or Clays CD.
Had a good chance to try it out, with a hour and 1/2 drive to my block, and same again on way home.
My favorites would be ” serves ya right” and “bullsh*t” but thoroughly enjoyed them all.
they are all unique songs, ones that tells a good yarn, and with enough detail, that you can see it play out in your mind. and bloody funny too.
well done Clay, you have done a really excellent job of this CD, and the songs, i’m looking forward to the next one already. ya managed to totally shatter the general consensus of the average pig hunter being thick as pig shit

well my copy didn’t last long… had a chemicals rep here today after work having a few quiet drinks and he heard the cd… ” cool!!!…can I borrow that?” was he question… so the bugger has pinched off with my copy for a bit… reckon it just what the doctor ordered for the big driving he has to do tomorrow… he isn’t a hunter but still knows what its all about… so there ya go clay…

It has become the permanent sounds in the Hilux and no matter who gets in, they have to listen. So really, whether it’s off hunting or horsing, there’s always laughter coming from our wagon

well finally I have plucked up courage to do post on this form having brought Clays new cd which i hav been waiting wth interest. Well have to say didn’t no what to expect lol but I have listened to it 3 times since haven’t received it yesterday and haven’t stop laughing i loved it .Clay congrats on your CD i wish you all the best don’t think you gonna have trouble selling them , people on this forum buy one and go buy a dozen sit dwn and lisen you will enjoy. I brought 1 to give to a friend she just rung me and she said its a hard case and they really enjoyed it. Hey don’t have to be a pig hunter i’m not and they aren’t either.

Love the new CD Clay!
It has really grown on me. Just gets better every time I listen. Its clever how you make all the different
voices all in the same song “Serves ya right”and your hamonica playing sounds amazing on Bail away & Dog & Knife
All the songs have something a bit different but my favorite would have to be Mean dean McBoon.
There is nothing like this in my counry Japan.
